Paula VanDyke is a Master's level clinician who graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts Degree in Family Therapy from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. I provide a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic environment in which I practice an insight-oriented and solution-focused mindful approach to therapy and life's journey. Together, we will set mutually determined treatment objectives to help individuals, couples and families achieve life goals, heal emotional wounds, become "unstuck" and break free from unhealthy patterns.
My work experience includes The Council on Recovery - Houston specializing in substance abuse, co-occurring mental disorders and parenting issues, as well as Memorial-Hermann Prevention and Recovery, (PaRC) assisting adolescents with emotional , behavioral and substance abuse issues in addition to assisting the family to modify unhealthy family patterns. I also work with Memorial Hermann's Behavioral Health Team assisting patient's with multiple psychiatric and emotional disorders.
Licensed as a Marriage and Family therapist and a Professional Counselor (Supervisor in both) in the state of Texas.
